Horses have an amazing way of leveling a playing field. Did you know equestrian sport is the only sport that men and women compete against each other, even at the Olympic level?
Learning to ride with your child can be a wonderful bonding experience. You can encourage and learn through each others triumphs and struggles and laugh over the frustrations. Allowing our children to see us struggle through trying something new teaches them empathy and compassion, while learning it is ok to feel unsure or a little vulnerable at times. Children and parents will share an understanding of perseverance, resilience and determination.
