SUMMARY:Pony Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Pony therapy has been shown to help lower stress levels\, promote serotonin production\, cut anxiety\, and reduce high blood pressure. Research has shown that simply petting an animal lowers the stress hormone cortisol \, while the social interaction between people and the ponies actually increases levels of the feel-good hormone oxytocin (the same hormone that bonds mothers to babies). \n\n\n\nAvailability\n\n\n\nPony therapy is available at our location\, Monday – Friday at the following times: \n\n\n\n\n10:00am – 11:00am\n\n\n\n11:00am – 12:00pm\n\n\n\n12:00pm – 1:00pm\n\n\n\n\nThe barn is wheelchair and walker accessible and we supply blankets for extra warmth in colder months.  *Please note bathroom facilities on the farm are a traditional outhouse that unfortunately is not large enough to be wheelchair accessible. \n\n\n\nCost:\n\n\n\n$125.00 – up to 5 participants \n\n\n\n$150.00 – up to 10 participants \n\n\n\n$175.00 – up to 15 participants  \n\n\n\n$200.00 – up to 20 participants

We are now offering this amazing experience in a 1-time experience for those who can’t join us for our 7-week sessions! This program is structured for children 3.5-7\, incorporating imagination play and pony rides. \n\n\n\nIt’s Safari Day!  An important part to keeping the forest safe and healthy is researching and documenting it. Our Ponies and Pipsqueaks Research Team is in charge of taking an inventory of the jungle to see how many animals live there. Watch out for lions!
