SUMMARY:Pony Therapy
DESCRIPTION:Pony therapy has been shown to help lower stress levels\, promote serotonin production\, cut anxiety\, and reduce high blood pressure. Research has shown that simply petting an animal lowers the stress hormone cortisol \, while the social interaction between people and the ponies actually increases levels of the feel-good hormone oxytocin (the same hormone that bonds mothers to babies). \n\n\n\nAvailability\n\n\n\nPony therapy is available at our location\, Monday – Friday at the following times: \n\n\n\n\n10:00am – 11:00am\n\n\n\n11:00am – 12:00pm\n\n\n\n12:00pm – 1:00pm\n\n\n\n\nThe barn is wheelchair and walker accessible and we supply blankets for extra warmth in colder months.  *Please note bathroom facilities on the farm are a traditional outhouse that unfortunately is not large enough to be wheelchair accessible. \n\n\n\nCost:\n\n\n\n$125.00 – up to 5 participants \n\n\n\n$150.00 – up to 10 participants \n\n\n\n$175.00 – up to 15 participants  \n\n\n\n$200.00 – up to 20 participants
